Why we started
Booking one appointment should not take five clicks.
It felt like the software was designed by somebody who knew nothing about the dental field.
A practice owner, over dinner
Five clicks for one appointment. A family of four is that four times over, with the same details typed again each time. None of it is difficult. All of it is somebody's whole afternoon, every afternoon, and none of it is why they took the job.
Glance is the layer that does that part. It is not a replacement for your practice management system and it is not asking you to move anything.

What it takes off the desk
Three things, done before anyone asks.
Book a family in one pass
Four people, four appointments, one conversation. Glance fills in what it already knows and asks only for what it does not.
Chase the confirmations
It follows up on tomorrow without being told to, and it stops the moment somebody replies. Nobody has to remember who has not answered.
Read the day before it happens
The gaps, the unpaid balances, the recall that has been sitting for eleven months. On one screen, before the first patient walks in.
Nothing migrates
Your Open Dental stays exactly where it is.
No export. No import. No week of downtime while somebody moves your practice into another system and hands it back with the edges chipped. Glance reads and writes the database you already have, on the server you already run it on.
Switch Glance off and you are back to the practice you had this morning, with everything it did still recorded where it belongs.
Glance
The part that does the admin.
Switch it off and nothing breaks.
reads and writes
Your Open Dental
Your server. Your database.
Unchanged, and still yours.

Where we actually are
A companion today, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Glance runs alongside Open Dental. It does not replace it, and anyone telling you their product replaces your practice management system on day one is selling you a migration you did not ask for.
A full standalone system is being built. When it is ready it will be a choice you make, not a change that happens to you, and the way out of it will be as short as the way in.
What Glance can see
You are letting software near patient records. Here is the whole of it.
- Your records stay on your server
- Glance works against the Open Dental database you already run. It stays your database on your server. We do not hold a copy of your patient list and nothing is migrated into a system of ours.
- Nothing real until you have signed
- No live patient record touches anything of ours before there is a signed agreement saying exactly what we may do with it. We build and test against an invented practice.
- The privacy paperwork is ours, not yours
- Bringing a system like this into a practice comes with a privacy assessment, and what your province asks for differs. We produce that material for your practice rather than leaving a dentist to write it on a Sunday.
- Some of the thinking is done by an AI, and we will tell you which
- The parts that read and draft use a language model. Before you sign, you get it in writing: which tasks use one, what is sent, and what never leaves your server.
What it costs
Counted in dentists, because you can count that.
Not chairs, not patients, not claims, not what you collected last month. Dentists who regularly work at that location, which you already know without opening a report.
One or two dentists
CAD 199
per location, per month
A single-doctor or two-doctor office.
Three or four dentists
CAD 299
per location, per month
An owner with associates, or a small partnership.
Five or more dentists
CAD 449
per location, per month
And it does not go higher than this.
Multiple locations get one agreement and one invoice, and each office is still sized on its own. Nothing is pooled across sites, so a small satellite never reprices the rest of the group.
And leaving takes minutes.
Take everything Glance holds whenever you want it, yourself, on any ordinary day: no request, no waiting, no call with somebody trying to talk you out of it. You get it twice over, in a format another system can read and in one a person can just read. Your clinical record never left Open Dental in the first place, so switching Glance off puts you back where you were that morning.
Talk to a person about your practice.
Tell us how many dentists work at your location and what your front desk spends its afternoon on. We will tell you plainly whether Glance helps.
